Not unless someone shapes up the ft driver.  SCSI tapes are the way to go.
The floppy interfaces tend to be pretty proprietary.

You will want to upgrade to 2.1.7.1 or later if you are concerned about
system security. A rather large hole was discovered recently in releases <
2.1.7.
