These questions may have been asked before, but I have not been able to find the answers in the archives. Any help you all can do to point me in the right direction would be appreciated. I need two tools for FreeBSD that will: 1) Create a list of all of the files in a tree and then be able to make comparisons against that list later (To find files that have changed and by who. 2) A text based HTML checker that will either communicate with our site or go directly after the HTML files on the drive and check for broken links and missing images (but smart enough not to do the endless loop thing with root :P ) I'm trying to automate the updating process from our web staging server out to our live servers but want to have it preform some of these checks for me before moving the data. It will all be run from a shell script with some Perl thrown in here an there. Anyone know something that will do these things? Commercial software is fine as long as I can get it quickly and it will work under FreeBSD. Thanks for your help! -Sean ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Sean J.
