Kinda...  HPS posted a patch to fix the bug, but then rrs investigated
it and found this simplier fix which is now in the tree...  I believe
there is still ongoing discussion moving forward w/ other aspects of
it..  You should read the email archives for the full story.. I am
leaving things out, I didn't follow the thread very closely...
