Since most of what I heard was from friends in network, I can't say except
for the one we had - M2694ESA - and it was too hot to touch with an open
case and decent airflow.  Would have to guess that it was many models, as
they worked for one of the bigger Novell places.

We have several 1Gb (2112 ?) and 1.7Gb (2117 ?) around and only one had to
be replaced (1.7Gb) after a 1.5" drop on one end when I was removing it
from the case.  Bearing got noisy, but it was mentioned here this is a
common problem.

All are being used continuously, but not quite as hard as a news server,
for about 2 years at least and 2 are about 4 years in service.
