One way I can think of to do this without downloading 4.7 is to install 4.5 with your disks in non-RAID configuration, cvsup, build world, configure your RAID system, then install the newly built 4.7 on it. How easily this can be accomplished depends on whether you have a CD burner or spare hard drive on which to save 4.7, and what "flavor" of RAID you want to use.
