Howdy all, I posted the following to comp.unix.bsd.freebsd.misc...hopefully you or someone there has seen this before. Thanks...bg ******************** Trying to compile a kernel, it's dying with the following: loading kernel kern_sysctl.o Undefined symbol '_hw_float' referenced from text segment *** Error code 1 System: ASUS P55TP4N w/P90, 256K cache 24MB RAM 3Com 3C509 (not in PnP mode) SC-200 PCI SCSI (NCR 53c810) 2 Maxtor 2212 1.0GB SCSI drives On board IDE disabled Generic Trident PCI VGA PS/2 Mouse The kernel config file follows. Basically, I just commented out the stuff I didn't need, added PS/2 mouse support and adjusted ep0 for the IRQ/address info for my 3C509 (IRQ5,300).
