Native (Extended) TCL networking is nothing like what tclDP provides.... tclDP's tcl-level RPCs are an absolute godsend in prototyping distributed systems, and I've been using it extensively in on such application If I wanted to use the usual networking stuff, I'd have written it in C. I'm not actually using it RIGHT NOW, but I've been toying with using it in the near future again. I will admit that I haven't used the new (none extended TCL) networking yet, but it doesn't offer the same services offered by tclDP I don't know the addresses of the maintainers though I can look it up I guess, so I hopethe new version is out before I need it.. julian
