My config ==> ISP[DSL] | Modem | Router/Gateway | ==> Hub____LAN machine(1) |____LAN machine(2) |---- |____LAN machine(n) The LAN side machines are configured w/ NAT and the mapping are unchanged, using 192.168.x.n etc. The WAN side is configured correctly, I think. I can access the internet from the LAN, SSH & Telnet. However I cannot telnet or SSH into the LAN and the Port mappings are the same as before??? The only change has been to the Gateway configuration, IP #, DNS & subnetmask. I am using the SMC barricade router,SMC7004ABR, w/ an Admin GUI, according to the GUI the IP has been updated. I can ping the gateway, it is seen by nslookup, there is no hostname assigned so there should be no resolver issues I think ftp or ssh to the IP followed by the :assigned public port ==> No address associated with hostname I 've made the requisite changes to the defaultrouter="nnn.xxx.yy.zz" in the /etc/rc.conf file inserting the gateway IP LAN address here. Are there any files that may contain the Old IP # and may require changing? What am I missing?
