Hello, I'm getting "ptrace: no such process" errors too.

I filed a bug report upstream (whoops?):

I'm not sure if this deals with the "gdb locks up" issue too though (which I
also experience).

FreeBSD 11.0-RELEASE-p1 with gdb 7.11.1_3
