I finally aborted my attempt yesterday after 4 days of compiling. I had only 8 megs of ram on a 386DX-40, but my replacement is going to be a 486DX-33 with 16 megs of ram. Could I restart the process where it left off, or do I have to start over? It took over an hour to do the cleaning of /usr/obj when it was already empty. Wayne
