            Bug ID: 260810
           Summary: www/node*: incorrect ar invocation
           Product: Ports & Packages
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Only Me
          Priority: ---
         Component: Individual Port(s)
          Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: emaste@freebsd.org
            Blocks: 260523

FreeBSD ar supports a -T option:

-T Use only the first fifteen characters of the archive member na=
me
or command line file name argument when naming archive members.

But this conflicts with LLVM ar and GNU ar, and with ports, which all use or
expect -T to mean thin archive.=20

node expects T to mean thin, not truncate archive member names -- the ar fl=
ags
(crsT) are defined in a cmd_alink_thin variable.
