How am I to know when I haven't seen your scripted solution? :-) All I can say is that I had a scripted solution which I was very proud of until my mentor showed me CVS. However, I'm not restricted to dial-up most of the time. When I _was_ using dial-up, it certainly _felt_ like CVS was slower than CVSup, but I wasn't watching closely. Perhaps you could do some benchmarking and gimme some information for the Handbook? :-) Later, Sheldon.
