I built and installed audio/timidity the stock compiler with my usual CFLAGS: -O2 -fno-strict-aliasing -pipe -march=opteron It dies on startup from SIGFPE. I turned on "-Wall -Werror" and patched the port to compile cleanly without any warning. That did not help... Compiling with -O1 or -O0 is fine. I remember having the same issue with Tcl84 compiled with -O2 -- what's wrong with the second level of optimization? Is not it supposed to finally work? I'm using 5.4-stable from July 21 on amd64. Please, advise. Thanks! -mi
