Jerry, please don't respond to spam, backscatter, misconfigured autoresponders and such. It just adds to the problem. Clearly someone/s are spamming this list and others with mail forged to be from questions@freebsd.org; they don't call it the silly season for nothing .. If you have any helpful suggestions about dealing with spam or anything to do with the lists, please send mail to postmaster@freebsd.org offlist .. bearing in mind that he's very likely run off his feet right now. cheers, Ian
