Hi, I am trying install GNOME-2.2 from ports and I have a problem doing glib configure. The output is: checking for pkg-config... /usr/local/bin/pkg-config configure: error: *** pkg-config too old; version 0.14 or better required. ===> Script "configure" failed unexpectedly. Please report the problem to gnome@FreeBSD.org [maintainer] and attach the "/usr/ports/devel/glib20/work/glib-2.2.1/config.log" including the output of the failure of your make command. Also, it might be a good idea to provide an overview of all packages installed on your system (e.g. an `ls /var/db/pkg`). For your information: bash-2.05b# pkg_info | grep pkg pkgconfig-0.12.0 An utility used to retrieve information about installed lib bash-2.05b# Now I will try to install a newer pkgconfig and try to install GNOME-2.2. If I have a problem after install pkgconfig I will mail you again. Thanks a lot for your work. Xevi.
