Frys has 128mb CF cards for around |$75. No problems booting a "dangerously dedicated" UFS partition with FreeBSD boot blocks I prepared for him. He dd'ed it onto the flash with another laptop. I haven't yet heard back yet whether or not the PicoBSD kernel I cooked for him with Kawasaki USB ethernet support works yet or not. |Does the IA-1 have a fan ? One thing that is (was) nice about the I-Opener |is that it's completely slient. Not sure. I've not actually seen it. However, with no hard disks, floppies, a K6-2/266, and an LCD display, I'll bet it's pretty quiet.
