I get a similar result on my Fujitsu 635Tx, which has a NeoMagic 128ZV or
somesuch.

If it's any consolation, Xi Graphics will give you plenty of time to get used
to the thought of paying.  I have been waiting, oh, probably two weeks for
answers to some questions I emailed them (although I got a friendly letter from
a salesbeing the second go 'round).  I'll have to have a go with those new
syscons patches.
