Hi, I just installed 3.0-RELEASE and the 30upgrade.tgz via ftp. I am having a general problem with the ports collection and I was hoping someone could tell me how to correct this. When I attempt to "make" either port bash-2.02.1 or XFree86-3.3.3.1, I su to root and type "make" from the untarred directory. I get the following error: "/usr/share/mk/bsd.port.mk", line 2: could not find "/usr/ports/Mk/bsd.port.mk" Since this is happening for more than one port, I assume that there is something on my system that needs to be configured. I just don't know what it is. Thanks in advance, Dave dgason@mindspring.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
