X-Mailer: VM 6.72 under 21.1 (patch 8) "Bryce Canyon" XEmacs Lucid Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG I've got a printer (HP LJ4m) that only wants to work ok with lptcontrol -e turned on. This puts lpt0 into extended polled mode. There seems to be no way to set the printer to extended interrupt mode by combining lptcontrol -e and -i... is this intentional? Anyway, my question is, will lptcontrol -e affect the operations of the ZIP drive attached to the parallel port? If not, then I can rid myself of one of the computers making noise in my office ;-) Thanks! -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Vivek Khera, Ph.D. Khera Communications, Inc.
