i'm thinking of getting a SoundBlaster Live! soundcard.....probably the
mp3 version but maybe the x-gamer.  anyway, how well does it work with
freebsd?  i would imagine that at least it has basic support.  hows the
advanced features though?  will i get much difference in the quality of
my music?  and if i ever get my dvd's to play in bsd how is the surround
sound drivers?  

basically can anyone recommend buying or not buying this card?
