I'm not sure if this happend before, but I noticed this when I build it: configure: WARNING: Ignoring CFLAGS(-march=native -DLIBICONV_PLUG) found in environment. Use --with-extra-cflags configure: WARNING: Ignoring CXXFLAGS(-march=native -DLIBICONV_PLUG -DLIBICONV_PLUG) found in environment. Use --with-extra-cxxflags configure: WARNING: Ignoring LDFLAGS( -L/usr/local/lib) found in environment. Use --with-extra-ldflags My make.conf say: CFLAGS=-march=native So something gets lost in translation here.
