(but since you suggested it, i tried it, and got no joy.) If you're > seeing behavior which you think is errant, try moving your ~/.mozilla > directory out of the way, and see if the problems persist. i found ~/.mozilla/mozver.dat was owned by root, so i chown'd it to myself and restarted. no joy. when i "mv .mozilla dot.mozilla" and restart, it worked.
