I have the exact same problem.. cvsup 14.1.1, no gdb. in
/usr/src/contrib/gdb/gdb

If it isn't working soon, I'm just going to copy the darn things from my
existing /usr/local/man directory...

It's certainly curious why people getting just the src tree aren't getting
the right files, whereas the those folks grabbing the entire CVS get
them.. Bummer.
