I installed 5.2-BETA dual celeron PC. If I was enabled softupdate on / partition in partition editor(sysinstall) at base file extract time, system was paniced with below message. ernel: type 12 trap, code=0 Stopped at _mtx_assert+0x4e: movl 0x1c(%ebx),%eax db> _mtx_assert vm_page_set_invalid brelse softdep_disk_io_initiation spec_xstrategy spec_specstrategy ufs_strategy ufs_vnoperate bwrite vfs_bio_awrite(....) at vfs_bio_awrite flushbufqueues(0...) at flushbufqueues buf_daemon(0,..) at buf_daemon+0xdc fork_exit(c06...) at fork_exit+0xb4 fork_trampoline() ata fork_trampoline+0x8 --- trap 0x1, eip = 0, esp = 0xce898d7c, ebp = 0 --- If I was disable(default) softupdate on / partition, there is no problem.
