Then, about a month ago, I went to get the latest version, and it also didn't work; however, the second-to-latest version that was on the FTP site (don't remember where I got it) works great. I haven't really made it do anything (like replace the machine that is serving as the internet gateway for my network), but I was able to play with it, and I thought it was pretty neato. So yes, try it again, and download a couple different versions and see what happens. I seem to remember that it had a problem detecting my ethernet card; the machine that I played with it on has recently had both a WD8003 and an AMD LANCE/PCNet (isa) card--I don't think I got either one to work, but i didn't try very hard, either. > > Thanks in advance! > > Charles > > mailto:charlespeters@tecpro.com > > > > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org > with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Jeffrey Dunitz | Current Job: | orpheus@avalon.net BOFH Emeritus, Avalon Networks | Network Engineer | Eagan, MN, USA http://www.avalon.net/~orpheus | EXi Corporation | 651-523-6992 (work) To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
