The first time I heard about it, i downloaded it and it didn't work.
Then, about a month ago, I went to get the latest version, and it 
also didn't work; however, the second-to-latest version that was on 
the FTP site (don't remember where I got it) works great. I haven't
really made it do anything (like replace the machine that is serving as
the internet gateway for my network), but I was able to play with it, 
and I thought it was pretty neato. 
 
So yes, try it again, and download a couple different versions and see
what happens. 
 
I seem to remember that it had a problem detecting my ethernet card;
the machine that I played with it on has recently had both a WD8003 
and an AMD LANCE/PCNet (isa) card--I don't think I got either one to
work, but i didn't try very hard, either.
