Ok, well I'm not running OnTrack.. I tried disabling the on-board BIOS on my Promise card, but that didn't solve anything. Something that is totally baffeling(sp?) me is that whenever I set the main partition to be active and then I reboot, it is no longer active. I did try booting off boot.flp with the -rwd0 someone mentioned worked for them in the email archives, yet it doesn't do anything different, and even if it does, I can't tell because it still boots sysinstall instead of /sbin/init.
