Hi Bill, As another option, I'm successfully using vtund between two FreeBSD machines. vtund (/usr/ports/net/vtun) also supports encryption (blowfish as a standard I believe) and compression (lzo from poor memory)... Let me know if you want to explore this option, and I should be able to shoot some conf's your way.
