You have _NO_^%$&^$&^$&_IDEA_ how annoying it is trying to 'make reinstall' a tree built on an X-less machine onto a farm with X. As far as I can see, all it will take is the removal of 'xditview' from the SUBDIR line in /usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/groff/Makefile. For someone with commit privs, this is the work of a few seconds. For those of us trying to get something done, it is an Excruciating Pain in the Ass. I'm sorry if I come across all crabby on this, but this is about the fifth time I've asked for this pissant little edit in the last six or eight months. I haven't even heard an _excuse_, let alone a reason why it's still in the tree. -- ]] Mike Smith, Software Engineer msmith@atrad.adelaide.edu.au [[ ]] Genesis Software genesis@atrad.adelaide.edu.au [[ ]] High-speed data acquisition and (GSM mobile) 0411-222-496 [[ ]] realtime instrument control (ph/fax) +61-8-267-3039 [[ ]] Collector of old Unix hardware.
