  I believe that the page you are referring to says that FreeBSD is safe,
but it is unreachable right now.  But you know that already, because you
read it before referring it, right?

  The BSD codebase has always been free of this bug (well I can't actually
speak about pre-4.3 versions, but I doubt any still exist).
