I switched my ata66 disk to the udma66 controller, and it just boost my system. It seems not only that the controller is supported, but the UDMA66 is also very well managed, at least far better than what I've seen on other OS and controllers. All the transfers are now *faster* than ever, almost twice the speed with big files. I was already happy with the 4.0 speed enhancements, but it sounds like the incoming FreeBSD will definitely be a nice release ! Thanks to everyone for making such a nice OS !
