But I believe, our usage of PORTREVISION is wrong-headed. I completely agree. The problem is that portupgrade/portmaster do not handle shlib bumps and do not force rebuilding depending ports. If you want to fix those tools to behave in a better way, please do so. In the mean time, when some shlib version is bumped, all consumers must have their PORTREVISION bumped. --=20 Mathieu Arnold --eAgDwr9hFd79ifHL8T0cguHmDRAkbNsrM-- --nPT8wnpEID6c6kNSNqAj6bdgoAo7f6FKW Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2 iQJ8BAEBCgBmBQJYrGIxXxSAAAAAAC4AKGlzc3Vlci1mcHJAbm90YXRpb25zLm9w ZW5wZ3AuZmlmdGhob3JzZW1hbi5uZXQzQUI2OTc4OUQyRUQxMjEwNjQ0MEJBNUIz QTQ1MTZGMzUxODNDRTQ4AAoJEDpFFvNRg85IRc8P/2dcaxmvzCfBuuZ75n6K83Bs nLR43hTEMDcQtCg0+6hIBpseBX+DM4wTIt3NTevhPe32QGn596XMSHJHtyRFOB7c QZUtEQOxK0ngdNBSjH7ipYjDn0AiCTGPBOcvoRzdbFnaQMTN77sIWnafI+OumDao iu/9mUz5bwJYrL5yCsnSnkZgSYHZA+YOxbYdatbVrliK0/0tV5NLk+zDBlBwHmG5 U/8bKFLaN/rqmXLflmxEEZBssvWrkRdopr2Vnh74tXSdR+TNWGztl6VVFoZ/gr2Z J6/E5f4Dsjow3F11jxdr2zn0cU/Jf4l53/nZqMYQYnXWl2uxAxwAyX0B1V8zk1Pu gDSeUiJIJ6luOSHn9AIzU/TKHiRPqSHQ8gDj6p+fQfl1LR5SwifKdR8+4SDs/j9j rmEXL9P34uBBf98ChIRMM/FjyaeraHBPHbsV+MoWzop6FiEuC99b5/qsbrFAnfZv +0a0x1TpQvl65PfRcc8cW3xs+KRv0K2+vng5S0mnY23vNCbyBaLbqb2q1KAXtmwF m0CcH7ysnIFgT3VE0ZkDHA5oaSmcIP1AQGkhB0ye6FnjO9TgaWoXyvVXaHzQ3Nhx LPg8hygvIVEp3meKtKBR/6PtPH4dmI36PUFWei6f5TzkC4CQX6T3KUN2zm4RsBVr PkIg2p84OgeN9p5vlB6k =xhdb -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nPT8wnpEID6c6kNSNqAj6bdgoAo7f6FKW--
