At various points during the ftp session the system hangs. Nothing gets me out except for a cold start. I'm using a 3Com 9432TX, a Gateway PII 300 with 128MB. I'm on a college LAN and I'm getting download speeds anywhere from 2K/sec to 170k/sec depending on the site chosen. I've tried trimming the kernel and leaving it completely GENERIC. Any suggestion or request for additional info sure would be appreciated. P.S. - While I'm at it any suggestions on keeping an Adaptec 1505 from causing a fatal trap 12 on a different machine. (yeah, I know, why did I buy this card?) P233 128M To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
