xdm loads up during bootup... how do i get rid of it? i think xdm maybe causing X to crash randomly.... cause i have freebsd installed on a ibm T20 and after turning off all the power management stuff the computer still freezes up. This freezing only happens while using in X and when it happens i can't even get out of X with Ctrl+Alt+Backspace or switch back to the terminal. even some things such as the function key for turning off the LCD stops working. if anyone knows what the problem maybe please tell me.
