I would make sure though, that if you connect the network to the internet that you keep all the Microsoft boxes inside the firewall or protected by a proxy server style configuration. We use SCO MS-NT and FreeBSD on the servers in our agency and they all mesh well, but the only machine directly exposed to the internet is our FreeBSD box.
