  $@ -> "$@", now ``mkdep "foo bar".c'' works.
  
  Do not exit with status 0 if mkdep(1) cannot create output,
  e.g. if .depend is not writable or the FS is readonly mounted.
  
  Store arguments as comments for debugging purpose.
