Using the linux-phoenix-0.5 I installed yesterday:

I downloaded a couple of 5Mbyte animations from SOHO-LASCO site
using right click - save link as, which was successful.

Downloaded a .tar.bz2 approx 26M with left click and save radio
button selected, also successful.

Also tried a few smaller files, saw no messages in .xsession-errors
and no message in xterm except the 'ipc' message above.
