Due to rea= sons unknown on several of our hosts/jails the pkg.conf file was a kind of really short (someone customized it or remnant of previusly installed pkg versions= ). I did not investigate this further, simply replaced that obvious outdated file with the sample with the minor adjustments of our liking (we'd like to have= the RC scripts handled by pkg and on some boxes we need a proxy).
