This only happens in about one of 15 boots. The not-resume-from-x has been discussed earlier on this list, it has to do with a bios bug from ibm. linux people have worked around this already. i am looking forward to try 5.0 to see what acpi can do for me. other stuff i got to work: wireless, ethernet, usb digicam, pcmcia cardreader, apm resume without a crash when the dvd drive is inserted, opengl. things that do not yet work (tho I have not tried hard until now): irda, bluetooth, internal modem and hibernate. the last one I heard is already working for some people, if so, can someone give me some instructions about this? greets, t.
