I have tried to install FreeBSD on AlphaStation 255/233. I am having the following problems: Release 4.1.1 - installation program does not detect any hard disks (kernel not detecting my scsi controler) Release 4.0, 4.1 - system have been installed sucessfuly, but i can't boot it: >>> boot dka0 (boot dka0.0.0.6.0) block 0 of dka0.0.0.6.0 is valid boot block reading 15 blocks from dka0.0.0.6.0 bootstrap code read in base = 1f2000, image_start = 0, image bytes = 1e00 initializing HWRPB at 2000 initializing page table at 1e4000 initializing machine state setting affinity to the primaty CPU jumping to bootstrap code Loading /boot/loader halted CPU 0 halt code = 2 kernel stack not valid halt PC = 0 boot failure >>> Does anybody know what is wrong ? -- ===================================================================== Pawel Nogas Adam Mickiewicz University Computer Centre pnogas@amu.edu.pl ul.
