/usr/ports/lang/erlang is already on 24 and has been a default for quite a bit.

There is a new release of www/yaws which adds Erlang/OTP 24 support. 
 https://github.com/erlyaws/yaws/releases/tag/yaws-2.1.0 
 
I note this is required in order for SSL to work, so an update to the 
port would be much appreciated.
