Do you use vidcontrol to set different video mode? How exactly does "output disappear"? Does the screen go blank? Does the=20 console just stop outputting characters? Why do you say "userland output"? Do kernel messages appear? (You can=20 check this by e.g. inserting a USB memory stick in the machine). --------------enigE96A4D5CCF3BA78CD1CA16F9 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with SUSE - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFGcTx2ldnAQVacBcgRArM1AKDbxRa6d8367qk6yU62KxR9tpAbKACgs+FA SH05u/8hkPtTySXjV5QIo1g= =zFfu -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------enigE96A4D5CCF3BA78CD1CA16F9--
