xanim should be the best choice. You may find it at
http://xanim.va.pubnix.com/home.html (I hope so).
xanim is also in the freeBSD ports collection.

xanim is not fully distributed as source code due to licensing
blabla of some codecs. (Radius Cinepak and Intel Indeo)
Look around on the web page, or examine the port first.
