Not too much help I'm afraid, but I wasn't confident in the abilities of su= ch=20 a cheap controller (mine cost me GBP =A320, about USD $30) to work well,=20 particularly with FreeBSD. I just set mine into "standard IDE contoller" mo= de=20 (there was a jumper on the board to control this), and have set up a mirror= ed=20 RAID 1 with vinum. So far it's running fine like this. =2D --=20 Cheers, Chris Howells -- chris@chrishowells.co.uk, howells@kde.org Web: http://chrishowells.co.uk, PGP ID: 0x33795A2C KDE/Qt/C++/PHP Developer: http://www.kde.org =2D----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.3 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQE/w0NMF8Iu1zN5WiwRAoA/AJ9TI5I26RRlzA+saw9fTs0yWWfRLgCgoUYL k0AnadCeZvK1q5hduZO8uWI=3D =3DPRBv =2D----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
