I have *NO* idea, but I've been using trn on FreeBSD since trn-2.1, and I've *NEVER* had any problems whatsoever with it. I will admit that I never shell out of trn (Job Control is your friend), and recently I've been trying to keep up with J"org's posting frenzy, so I don't know what to say. Nate
