There was a recent thread on filesytems on hackers, and i'd like to winnow out the chaff and figure out what is the best set of parameters for a laptop system. What is the best combination for a basic workstation setup? With or without softupdates, and with or without write-caching? jcm -- "I drank WHAT ?!" - Socrates To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
