It seems to me that it would have been better had this CoC had more outside review and possibly a draft period where the project asked for community feedback. IMHO it's not too late to go down those paths but we need to take a deep breath and consider that the intentions of the CoC are only good; that the project should be more welcoming for everyone. There's nothing wrong with the Foundation sponsoring a CoC, even if it had flaws. It likely would need to help sponsor independent reviews to weed out unneutral language. --=20 Regards, Bryan Drewery --YJ0tBWvLQToy5jfzJdV74lsXFyKkOJvV1-- --oex5zYNtdOsHH7CGnZTm2mPFhuBKYldVo Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2 iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJanYOGAAoJEDXXcbtuRpfPWGkH/2yE2enZhHvESrdzgi38vs5Q fPYVVieTkNen/W8eJf7m3e9MyLVI0WC5F4ZKlUPLOrJJGWU4gCmuxjUFKdawk4hT R+8aXKMWakN6mdSfRtGl8EFvuxoI4onJ7r4/yN2eqGIWDyQ9w2GfNeMhJ9N13pud SPsOG55bfIGatLStwKwmajTpVgZkgqMkyeZop8DRzIiMJPZqEjogBTG3J6AAIzbx cLOiNcglRxkZLTVPko2Qs16R/eLCQ7VAcDUCF8ueBpDZH9m7PiRZBsoAxAwwjX0y 9hvFJm1TkG5JjM0pgSM5CfKJRBhOlvxM1dVmVd4OTSYpOGWlyWduUonkYjQxkqY= =KgRE -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --oex5zYNtdOsHH7CGnZTm2mPFhuBKYldVo--
