That's odd.. I had no problems installing 2.2R or 2.2.1R over NFS with an
old ISA-only 486 with 8MB of RAM. What are some more specifics of the
machine? It must be a flaky piece of hardware or something bizarre. Or
maybe just bad luck ;-)
