Make buildworld fails in /usr/src, [obviously] and so did make buildkernel, but they work in $home/ncvs/usr/src/, as I expect they should. So the ?? is, when and if "Make installworld" succeeds, will my new world be in the proper location with respect to the standard mount points (/, /var, /usr) or am I building "a whole new world" in my home directory?
