--Boundary-00=_P6/KA96DQGyynp/ Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline Hello, I got an error message which told me to report it to this address. I was installing icewm from /usr/ports/x11-wm/icewm when it broke. I just installed the system from an ISO I downloaded within the last 48 hours. I've attached the config.log as specified in the error message. I hope this helps and is not wasting anyone's time. Error Msg: ./configure.lineno: 301: Syntax error: end of file unexpected (expecting "fi") configure: error: /bin/sh './configure' failed for gettext-runtime ===> Script "configure" failed unexpectedly. Please report the problem to ports@FreeBSD.org [maintainer] and attach the "/usr/ports/devel/gettext/work/gettext-0.12.1/config.log" including the output of the failure of your make command. Also, it might be a good idea to provide an overview of all packages installed on your system (e.g. an `ls /var/db/pkg`). *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/devel/gettext. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/devel/gmake. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/x11-wm/icewm. ------- Packages installed on system (via ls /var/db/pkg ) ------- XFree86-Server-4.3.0_12 XFree86-clients-4.3.0_5 XFree86-documents-4.3.0 XFree86-font100dpi-4.3.0 XFree86-font75dpi-4.3.0 XFree86-fontDefaultBitmaps-4.3.0 XFree86-fontEncodings-4.3.0 XFree86-libraries-4.3.0_6 XFree86-manuals-4.3.0 Xft-2.1.2 bash-2.05b.007 dri-4.3.0,1 expat-1.95.6_1 fontconfig-2.2.90_3 freetype2-2.1.5_1 imake-4.3.0_1 libiconv-1.9.1_3 libtool-1.3.5_1 lynx-2.8.4.1d perl-5.6.1_15 pkgconfig-0.15.0 png-1.2.5_2 unzip-5.50_2 wrapper-1.0_3 zip-2.3_1 -- --christopher mitchell --htpp://www.shadoweyes.com --GPG ID: 8B73AFD0 on keys.indymedia.org I think, therefore I am. - Descartes Sometimes I think; and sometimes I am. - Paul Valery --Boundary-00=_P6/KA96DQGyynp/--
